NFT Horizon — Ethereum NFT Marketplace

NFT Horizon is a fully featured, production-ready NFT marketplace built on Ethereum. It gives creators, collectors, and investors a single platform to mint, buy, sell, and showcase digital assets — with real blockchain transactions, multiple payment options, and full regulatory compliance for the UK market.

What It Does

Buy & Sell NFTs

Users can list any NFT for sale at a fixed price or accept offers. Purchases are settled instantly using the buyer's in-platform ETH balance. A 2% platform fee applies on all sales, with the seller receiving 98% of the sale price automatically.

Multiple Payment Methods

Buyers can fund their account using a credit or debit card via Stripe (converts to ETH), or transfer ETH directly from any connected wallet. MetaMask and WalletConnect are both supported, making it accessible on both desktop and mobile (including Android Chrome).

Private & Public Galleries

Creators can build curated exhibition spaces — public galleries open to everyone, or private galleries accessible only via invite link. Each gallery supports three listing modes per NFT: Display Only (showcase without selling), Fixed Price, and Auction with real-time live bidding.

NFT Minting

Users can mint new NFTs directly on the platform — either as platform-native tokens or on-chain via smart contract (ERC-721). The minting flow supports metadata, royalties, and collection assignment.

Collections

NFTs are organised into collections with floor price, total volume, and item count stats. Collections support banner images, verification badges, and royalty percentages.

User Wallets

Every user has a managed ETH wallet for seamless in-app purchases. Deposits can be made by card (Stripe) or crypto transfer. Withdrawals go to any external Ethereum address and are screened for sanctions compliance before processing.

Activity Feed

A live marketplace activity feed shows all sales, listings, and transfers across the platform in real time.

Two deployed smart contracts: NFTHorizon.sol (ERC-721 minting with royalties) and NFTMarketplace.sol (listings, offers, purchases)

FCA Compliance (AML/CTF)

NFT Horizon is built to the standard of an FCA-registered cryptoasset exchange provider under MLR 2017:

KYC verification — users submit identity checks before high-value activity

Sanctions screening — every withdrawal destination address is screened against the OFAC/HMT watchlist in real time; blocked addresses are logged and flagged

Travel Rule — transfers of 0.4 ETH or more (≈ £1,000) automatically trigger a counterparty data collection flow

SAR reporting — suspicious activity (large or rapid transactions) auto-generates a Suspicious Activity Report for MLRO review

MLRO dashboard — a full admin compliance portal for reviewing KYC applications, managing SARs, viewing sanctions logs, and auditing travel rule records

FCA financial promotions — a mandatory risk warning banner ("Don't invest unless you're prepared to lose all the money you invest") is displayed on every page, along with a regulatory compliance statement in the footer

Tech Stack

Built with React 18, TypeScript, Node.js/Express, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, Stripe, Radix UI / Shadcn, and ethers.js. Fully dark-themed, mobile-responsive, and deployed on Replit cloud infrastructure.
